Mub – Yes. He was in the toy department. Thanks for taking and look and thanks for the name suggestion.
Lopa – Thanks. I’ll try intertoys as well. However his label does say V&D but maybe he is from a third party toy company that sells to other stories like intertoys too.
Forget the lion. I know of a character who has been sadly neglected by his present owners. The last email I had from him he said he was at his wits end. He also said that they didn’t appear to love him any more and he is now confined the tool cupbard in the back garden shed, where it is dark and damp.
I think if you approached his present owners they would be glad to pass him onto you. I’m sure you would give him a good home.
Oh, if I had known! I was just in the V&D, but I’ll be visiting again very soon & will look around. For now, I’ll share the link on my blog ;-) Have a great weekend!
I need to head over to the shopping center here with the V&D sometime this week, so I’ll keep an eye out for him. After all, I enjoyed Alex’s stories, so I’d hate for them to end!

I’ll check the V&D in Eindhoven next time I’m in the city center! Was he in the toy department?
I think you should name the tiger Remus!

Such a cute post and such a sweet lion, sad that he wont be there any more… you will find one who can fit in Alex’s shoes soon…all the best :)

Keith – Ah… now I understand the story behind Quickos. You are right. It is a terrible injustice.
Isabella – Thanks once again. I owe you big :D

Well that answers my question in my email. sigh… I thought Alex had demanded to stay with you. Still I’ll get over it but maybe the children wouldn’t

I checked here a few times in hopes they’d get a new shipment, but they only had the spotted leopard left!
