This week Isabella from A Touch of Dutch has been nice enough to write a review about my blog. I would like to thank her and say hello to anyone who is visiting from her site. In her review Isabella mentions that my expat blog was the first one she read before starting her own. This is ironic because her blog was one of the first I found when I returned to writing. It is also time I said a long overdue thank you to Zed from My Boy Friend is a Twat for so kindly welcoming me back when I returned to writing and her accurate description of me as ‘the most accident-prone man in Europe’ who’s ‘visits to A&E are so regular that the nurses now call him by his first name’. We’ve only met once in person and yet she already knows me so well:
In other news; I will be performing this Friday at the Crea in Amsterdam with the rest of my group in an improv battle against other teams from around Holland (not to the death). We’ll be using the audience’s suggestions to create scenes of comedy and mirth. All are welcome. If we win we get through to the final on Sunday. This event is hosted by Easylaughs.
